2 min read
The Rustic Ramblers will once again be performing in Cassadaga.

The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga invites everyone to Cassadaga Beach on Sunday, June 28 to enjoy the music of the Rustic Ramblers. Preservation of classic country music is this band's goal as it is the basis for much of the popular music of today. They will be performing on the Cassadaga Floating Stage from 5-7 p.m..

Members of the band include Howard Buck of Fredonia on lead guitar and vocals; David Bailey from Hartfield on drums and vocals; Dan Gavel on bass and vocals from Collins, and Gene Hilts from West Valley on steel guitar. The band is well-known throughout Western New York and Pennsylvania.

There will be open mic and karaoke on the gazebo from 4-5 p.m. as well. All are invited to participate - even the kids!

Cassadaga Beach and Floating Stage are located on Park Avenue in Cassadaga. Come by land or come by boat. There are picnic tables, grills, playground and lifeguards will be on duty for swimming! Bring a cooler or get a dog at Jake's Weenie Wagon. 3 Lakes Café will be there as well with some delicious drinks. All local artists and/or authors are invited to set up shop on the basketball court.

This event is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants program, a regrant program of the NYS Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the NYS Legislature and administered by Arts Services Inc.

Beach parking is limited so if you are willing and able, please park at the nearby church, library or firehall. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Cassadaga FireHall at 22 Mill St. or Cassadaga American Legion at 228 Maple Ave. For more information, please call 716-665-8855.
