On Friday, June 19, the Silver Creek Kiwanis Club will be holding its 31st Annual Charity Golf Tournament. It will be at Shorewood Country Club. The day includes golf, a tee gift, a continental breakfast, lunch at the turn, a buffet dinner, and prizes.

Check-in is from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. Golf begins at 8:45 a.m. The format is a four-person scramble.

For the past 89 years, the Kiwanis club has worked hard to support the children in the communities of Silver Creek, Sheridan, Forestville, Irving, and the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation. Its work is funded solely through fundraisers and contributions. Children’s Fair, Trunk or Treat, Christmas in the Park, Baskets and Bunnies, 4 scholarships, and Christmas gifts for families in need are primarily what our funds are used to do. It is the goal of the club to continue to have a meaningful impact on our community’s children.

Entry fee is $135 if paid by June 13.Registration after June 13 is $150. Numerous sponsorships, tee signage, and raffle donation opportunities exist.
