Silver Creek Senior Citizens meet
SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on June 2 with 26 people in attendance.
President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with all saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing God Bless America. Pauline Flitt read a prayer of the day and a blessing of the members and food. Lunch consisted of ice cream sundaes and root beer floats and delicious pastries. Winners of the door prizes were Harry Suski, Carol Struwe and Eleanor Lemiszko. The 50-50 winners were Carol DePasquale, Jan Polisoto, and Pauline. Wheel of fortune lucky winners included Jeanne Blakely, Ruth Sheeler, Pauline, Joan Militello, John Czuba, and Eleanor. Lorrie Newman called bingo and the winners were: Pauline, Randy, Eleanor, Jeff Struwe, Annette Hoeber, Harry, Lorrie, John (twice) and Earl Sheeler.
Tuesday’s lunch will consist of salads. This senior group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m.., arrive by 12:30 p.m. Call Lorrie for information at 716-785-1074. Note: The group is inviting everyone 55 years of age or older to come and enjoy the fun.
