CASA planning for August golf tournament

The 2025 A Voice Fore A Child Charity Golf Tournament first-place Men’s/Ladies Team of Madeline Contiguglia, Bridget Anderson, Eric Anderson and Sam Young.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Chautauqua County announces its fifth annual A Voice Fore A Child Beer & Wine Tasting Charity Golf Tournament to be on Saturday, Aug. 15 at Chautauqua Golf Club. Registration starts at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon. The 18-hole, scramble format tournament will feature tastings by local breweries, wineries, and coffee roasters. The tournament is presented by Liberty Solutions. The public is invited.

Registration for a 4-person team includes tournament greens fees & cart, commemorative tasting mug with beer, wine, and coffee tastings, light lunch on-course, dinner at awards ceremony, team picture & prizes. Registrations are due by Aug. 4.

Several on-course contests will take place. Prizes will be given to the first-place men’s team, first- place ladies team and first- place ladies/men’s team. Other event activities include a wine/beer pull and basket raffle.

CASA is currently seeking additional event sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities provide businesses with valuable exposure through event marketing, social media, press coverage, signage, recognition during the awards ceremony, and participation in one of Chautauqua County’s most anticipated charity golf tournaments. Multiple sponsorship levels are still available, allowing organizations of all sizes to invest in local children while showcasing their commitment to the community.

Current sponsors include Community Bank, Cynde B. Photography, Every Child, Lakeside Medical Practice, Liberty Solutions, Merrill Lynch, Moonlight Electric, The RED House for Youth, St. Elmo Spa, and UPMC Chautauqua.

Breweries, wineries, and coffee roasters are also encouraged to participate by offering tastings during the event. Vendors have the opportunity to introduce their products to golfers and community members, connect with local businesses, and showcase what makes their organization unique while supporting a meaningful cause.

The mission of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Chautauqua County is to provide an independent voice in court, advocating for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the pursuit of finding safe and permanent homes. CASA of Chautauqua County, Inc. relies on highly trained volunteers who are appointed by a Chautauqua County Family Court Judge to advocate for children in court. These volunteers work with relevant agencies and parties in order to advocate for the best interest of the child. With the information provided by the CASA volunteer, Family Court Judges are better able to make informed decisions as to what is best for the child. CASA of Chautauqua County is a United Way Community Partner.
