Food Ministry Program wins grant
Tri-Church Parish in Brocton is pleased to announce a $6,000 grant award for its Food Ministry Program made possible by the generous support of the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation. This initiative aims to provide weekend bags for qualified students in the Brocton Central School district during the school year, as well as weekend bags for senior citizens who qualify all year long. The group has also organized a committee to answer the needs of veterans in and around our community. This greatly impacts individuals that have a need for food enhancements to their current situation at home. “We are grateful for Northern Chautauqua Community Foundations commitment to recognize the need in our community to supplement the need for individuals to have food and nourishment that our program provides,” said Barb Delcamp, Food Ministry Director.”Their support along with donations from community residents and other organizations will enable us to continue our mission to support our community as we have now for the past 10 years!” Pictured are Delcamp, Pastor Clara Wilder of Tri-Church Parish and Margaret Ferris, NCCF representative.
