Midnight Recovery to perform in Cassadaga

CASSADAGA – The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga organization has announced that on Sunday, from 5 to 7 p.m., Midnight Recovery will be performing on the Floating Stage as part of the Cassadaga Lakes Summer Concert Series.

Midnight Recovery is primarily a classic rock band that mixes in some new country hits. The band has been nominated several times as Best Classic Rock Band by the Buffalo Music Awards.

From Tonawanda is vocalist Cortney Chyme, who has been nominated two times as Best Female Classic Rock Vocalist. She is joined by bassist and vocalist Todd Langworthy of Fredonia – also a multi time nominee for Best Bassist by Buffalo Music Awards. Angola’s Kevin Parker was nominated as Best Drummer. Newest member, guitarist/vocalist Randy Barnard hails from Lockport. Don’t miss this chance to hear this group of outstanding musicians.

From 4-5 p.m. on the newly renovated Beach Gazebo, will be Gary & Brian. These two Forestville Central School classmates have been playing classic rock and oldies for decades. Gary Eacker is coming all the way from Virginia Beach for this gig and Brian McAvoy is from Arkwright.

Cassadaga Beach and Floating Stage are located on Park Avenue in Cassadaga. Come by land or come by boat. There are picnic tables, grills, playground and lifeguards will be on duty for swimming. Bring a cooler or get a dog at Jake’s Weenie Wagon. 3 Lakes Café will be there as well with some delicious drinks. All local artists and/or authors are invited to set up shop on the basketball court.

This event is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants program, a regrant program of the NYS Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the NYS Legislature and administered by Arts Services Inc.

Beach parking is limited so if you are willing and able, please park at the nearby church, library or fire hall. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Cassadaga Fire Hall at 22 Mill St. or Cassadaga American Legion at 228 Maple Ave.
