On Saturday at 10 a.m., Veterans 4 Christ will be gathering for its monthly breakfast brunch. This breakfast is free for veterans, active-duty military and a plus one.

The Gospel Church of Fredonia will be cooking and serving a delicious homemade breakfast. A special event will be happening after the brunch so please plan on staying a bit longer than normal. Quilts of Valor will be honoring veterans with a handmade quilt in a meaningful ceremony. All of this takes place at Tri-Church Parish in Brocton.

Veterans 4 Christ have a busy summer. Please plan on joining us for one or all.

— The second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 10 a.m., the group gathers at 9 West Main Street in Brocton for coffee and conversation.

— The last Monday of the month, it will meet at the Westfield American Legion, Post 327 at 7579 Main Road. There will be a taco bar that the ladies of the legion prepare. It is all you can eat up to three trips to the buffet. Times for this are 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for $4.

— Family Fishing and Fun Day at Westfield Fish & Game is for veteran, active-duty military and family. It is located at 8101 Ogden Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is no cost to veterans and immediate family. There will be hot dogs, burgers, salads, and drinks available. Westfield Fish and Game have two large ponds to fish. There will be poles and tackle available on site. Also there is a playground, live music, and many giveaways.

— In October there will be an archery hunt camp. Particulars will be available at a later date.
