Citizens for a Better Cassadaga awards scholarship

CASSADAGA - Austin Gloss has been awarded a scholarship from the Citizens for a Better Cassadaga. He is a 2026 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School and was honored during a recent concert in the village.
Each year, the CBC presents a $500 cash award to a graduating Senior of CVCS. The award recognizes a senior who has demonstrated a willingness to volunteer their time and energy towards making a significant impact in his/her community. The award recipient is selected by CVCS staff.
Gloss has been active throughout high school with Key Club, Students Against Destructive Decisions, morning announcements, and announcements at sporting events on campus, serving as the "Voice of the Valley." He plans to continue his education at Buffalo State for media production/broadcast journalism.
