Sales include future mental health collective facility

The price of a future mental health facility in the southern end of Chautauqua County has been revealed.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from May 22-29. The county does not provide transaction information, but real estate documents are available for review at the clerk's office.

During this time period, Jamestown Awning, Inc. sold 289 Steele St., Jamestown to Clinton George for $190,000.

As previously reported in The Post-Journal, 289 Steele St. will be transformed into a mental health collective with construction set to start in the summer. It will house mental health professionals together in an office space where they can see patients and share a facility together.

Jamestown Awning, which sold the building, operates out of 313 Steel St. and remains open and operational at their site with normal business hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and closed on the weekends.

Overall, from May 22-29, there were 12 sales that were $300,000 or higher. They are as follows:

- 79 E. Terrace Ave., Lakewood sold for $880,000.

- Four parcels on Buttermilk Rd., Ball Hill Road, and Dye Road, Villenova sold for $632,560. Three of the parcels total around 270 acres. The fourth parcel did not have a size listed on the county's GIS page.

- Five parcels in Mina and two parcels in French Creek sold for $582,646. The parcels total 246 acres.

- 7057 Beech Hill Rd., Chautauqua town sold for $560,000.

- 3030, 3034 and 3038 Mandolin Ridge Way, Chautauqua town sold for $550,500.

- 4437 Hewes Rd., Chautauqua town sold for $385,000.

- 1352 Orr St., Busti sold for $380,000.

- 6075 Baker St., North Harmony sold for $370,000.

- 4180 Webster Rd., Pomfret sold for $355,000.

- 470 Ivory Rd., Carroll sold for $350,000.

- 4649 Sherman Mayville Rd., Chautauqua sold for $344,000.

- 6213-A Centralia Hartfield Rd., Chautauqua town sold for $325,000.
