GOWANDA - The Gowanda Boosters Club is proud to announce the 2026 Gowanda Central School Hall of Fame Inductees. The Inductees will be honored on Sept. 18, beginning at 5 p.m. with Music & Social Gathering followed by the Induction ceremony at the Gowanda's Historical Hollywood Theater.
The Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce will also present the 2026 Spirit of Gowanda winners. This is a free event open to the public which kicks off Alumni Weekend.
The Inductees to be honored are Aaron Kroll, Sports Legend; David Smith and Barbara Dempsey, Distinguished Educators, James Andrew Musacchio, Esq., Distinguished Alumni and the 2004 Gowanda Wrestling Team, Team of Distinction.
Aaron Kroll, GCS Sports Legend, is 2010 Gowanda Central School Graduate who excelled in Wrestling as NYS Section VI Wrestling Champion.
David Smith, GCS Distinguished Educator, was the MS/HS Assistant Principal from 2016-2026, MS Principal 2003-2016 and Gowanda Administrators Association President 2016-2026.
Barbara Dempsey, GCS Distinguished Educator, was the Spanish Teacher from 1986-2026.
James Andrew Musacchio, Esq., GCS Distinguished Alumni, is a 1987 Gowanda Central School Graduate that went on to earn his BA from Grove City College in 1991 and his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan Law School in 1995. He was admitted to the NYS Bar in 1996 and operates his third generation family law firm, Musacchio & Pyle, in Gowanda.

The Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce will honor the following with the Spirit of Gowanda Award for service to the Gowanda Area. These honorees include Ms. Wanda Koch, The Gowanda Lions Club and The Gowanda Boosters Club.
This event will also include a basket raffle and a raffle of a Buffalo Bills Themed Cornhole set with proceeds benefiting the Gowanda Chamber of Commerce. Please come and celebrate Gowanda and its alumni.
