Christopher Buchanan, DC, has joined Newburg Spine & Sports, bringing his experience and passion for chiropractic care to the local community.
Dr. Buchanan earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from SUNY Fredonia before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at D'Youville University. His clinical education also included experience with the University at Buffalo Neurosurgery program, providing valuable exposure to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Buchanan spent several years working as a chiropractic assistant at Newburg Spine & Sports. That experience provided him with a strong foundation in patient care and a firsthand understanding of the challenges people face when dealing with pain and musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Buchanan’s approach to chiropractic care emphasizes individualized evaluation, evidence informed treatment, and patient education. He believes patients should have a clear understanding of their condition and an active role in their care. His goal is to help patients feel better while providing them with the knowledge and tools to maintain their health and continue doing the activities they enjoy.
Dr. Buchanan works with patients experiencing back pain, neck pain, headaches, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. His training includes a variety of conservative treatment and rehabilitation approaches tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
A former hockey player, Dr. Buchanan continues to enjoy golf, fitness, and staying active. He is excited to build relationships throughout the community and looks forward to working with local individuals, families, athletes, and businesses to promote better health, movement, and physical well-being.
Dr. Buchanan is also preparing to launch Buchanan Spine & Performance, an upcoming chiropractic and performance-focused practice serving the local community. More information about the new practice will be announced soon.
