The City of Dunkirk Public Works Department is informing residents that city wide curbside brush pickup for the month of September, as previously scheduled, is canceled as it is unfunded.
Residents will be able to drop off brush at the Lucas Avenue site beginning Monday, Sept. 28 through Friday Oct. 2 from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on Saturday Oct. 3 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Those dropping off their brush must show proof of Dunkirk residency.
Only brush, limbs, leaves and grass clippings will be accepted during drop off. Trees or logs will not be accepted.
