County auxiliary names officers

The Chautauqua County American Legion Auxiliary met recently in Lakewood. The following Officers for 2026-27 were elected. Seated, from left: Jane Rose, President; Stacey Erick, 1st Vice President. Standing: Past County President Pat Hayward, Installing Officer; Audrey Miga, Secretary; Frankie Rothwell, Treasurer; Lisa Sedlmayer, Historian; Linda Chase, Sgt. at Arms . Absent from the picture is Lucinda Simpson, Chaplain. The organization continues its commitment to veterans and meets monthly on the second Thursday of the month at alternating American Legion Auxiliary units throughout Chautauqua County. The next meeting is Thursday, Oct. 8, at J. Carter Knapp Post 953 in Forestville, and will be hosting 8th District Auxiliary officers, President Suzanne Wesley and Vice President Rosemary O'Connell, as the distinguished guests.
