Cruise-in event aids Rural Ministry, names winner

On Sept. 11, Shults Resale Center had their fifth annual No Fine Print Cruise-in sponsored by Pattons Home Furnishings. The last two years they have held a 50-50 drawing, which has raised more than $2,000 for the Chautauqua County Rural Ministries.
The car show attracts hundreds of people every year. There are local vendors, a DJ, and much more. Shults estimated 175 show cars plus motorcycles.
This year Kenny Brooks was chosen by the people for the 2026 People’s Choice Award. Brooks took first place and will be honored next year in all of the company’s advertising. His car will be displayed in the showroom, and it will be the focal point of the sixth annual show.
