At this time last year, the national average for diesel was $3.69 per gallon. New York’s average diesel price is $6.49 per gallon, up 32 cents from last week and inching closer to New York's record diesel prices of $6.54 set on May 19, 2022. One year ago, the New York average for diesel was $3.91.
