New Fredonia Crosby’s store celebrated

Crosby's has cut the ribbon at the grand reopening last week of its storefront in Fredonia.
Located on East Main Street, this revamp is the newest addition to Crosby's 90-store portfolio, providing 16 new jobs and an improved convenience location.
The walls of the new store were lined with photographs from Fredonia's own rich history, reflecting the past of both the property and community Crosby's now represents. A welcome addition alongside new grocery selections, forecourt upgrades, and a brand-new walk-in beer cave.
Beginning at 10 a.m., the grand opening event was a vibrant celebration, with a variety of local officials and community residents invited to attend and enjoy complimentary pizza while introducing the new store.
In addition, as part of Crosby's ongoing commitment to giving back, donations were made to several pillars of the Fredonia community: $100 to Darwin R. Barker Historical Museum; $300 to Fredonia Central School District; $500 to Fredonia Fire Department
"The kitchen was designed around the food, not fit around it -- and the photographs on our walls are Fredonia’s own," said Lenny Smith, Vice President of Crosby's and Reid Petroleum. "This store is built to feed people, not just fuel them, and we’re not just visiting this village. We’re part of it."
