SHERIDAN -- The Lakeshore Flea Market returns with the markets taking place on the first full Friday and Saturday of the month at the VFW Memorial Post, 2556 Route 20. There are two exceptions. Due to a scheduling conflict, the October market will take place this Friday and Saturday, the third weekend. The hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The January market will also be on the third weekend as New Year's Day falls on the first Friday and the VFW is closed for the holiday. The remainder of the year, the flea market will run the full first Friday night and Saturday of each month.
In addition to the flea market and Friday night fish fry, the VFW will be offering Saturday breakfast and lunch.
The breakfast menu includes breakfast sandwiches on homemade biscuits, coffee. Lunch is homemade soup of the week, pizza and wings. The VFW offers a full service bar for a variety of beverages.
Reservations are recommended for the fish fry. You may dine in or take out. Please come for a delicious fish fry, shop for great merchandise, including beautiful new and vintage items and Halloween costumes and decor.
It'll be a "spooktacular" shopping experience and a true treat of a fish dinner!
