The Sheridan Historical Society is pleased to display a new sign on the front of their building. The sign was made possible through a grant from the Lake Shore Bank as part of their Community Reinvestment Program. Designed by SouthPaw Signs, it identifies the location of the Sheridan Historical Center for visitors who wish to explore the displays of local historic memorabilia, to come to the speaker events, open houses, and bake sales. The Sheridan Historical Center is located at 2702 Route 20 at Center Road. The next upcoming event will be a bake sale and Patriotic Quilt Raffle drawing on Election Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The building is also open for visiting by appointment by calling (716) 960-9026 or (716) 673-1822. Information on the Historical Society can be found on the website, Sheridanhistorical.org. The society always welcomes new members.
