Bob Scudder has announced his candidacy for re-election as a Chautauqua County legislator in the 3rd district. The 3rd district consists of the west side of the Village of Fredonia and the Town of Pomfret. Scudder is running on the Republican and Conservative party lines.
As a 40-year resident of Fredonia, Scudder is invested in his community. He is an owner of East Main Laundry and Scudder's Blueberry Farm. He formerly owned Fredonia Hardware and The Mustard Seed Restaurant.
"I love serving the community in many different ways, but my favorite is as your County Legislator," he said. "I would be honored to continue serving for another term."
As a Legislator, Scudder has served on the Human Services Committee, Public Facilities Committee, Audit and Control Committee, Administrative Services Committee, Chautauqua County Parks Commission, and as a member of the Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation board.
"Besides keeping taxes low and services high, I think my experience and being a part of a 'politics free' Legislature, and working solely for the good of all of our County residents is what I am most proud of," Scudder said.
