Tom Carle, Democratic and Working Families candidate for 150th state Assembly, announces campaign endorsements from three labor unions in his run for office on the Nov. 3, 2026 General Election ballot representing Chautauqua County and the Cattaraugus Reservation in Erie County.

New York State United Teachers, Service Employees International Union and International Union of Painters and Allied Trades endorse Carle's election. Labor union endorsements reflect the support of organized workers in New York State, the home to 1.8 million union members.

"I am extremely grateful to the workers of NYSUT, the SEIU and the IUPAT, for their endorsement. The trust conveyed by these three powerhouse unions is a mandate for creating and protecting jobs," said Carle. "Democrats and Unions have worked together to represent working people and help to shape the expectations for all of us, not only on wages, but on issues of healthcare, workplace safety, fair treatment, time-off and retirement, as well. So, whether it is the 40-hour work week, weekends off, family leave, vacations, sick time, or workplace equality, Democrats and Unions were there driving the concepts to reality!"

"I began my career as a Teamster, and since then I have revived failing businesses, I have secured business with the world's largest retailer and have grown businesses by millions of dollars, always with the help of 'working people'! I have cooked chicken over a picket-line burn- barrel, and I have successfully managed businesses over one hundred millions dollars a year!

I will apply all of what I have learned to change the future dynamics and economics of our district," concluded Carle.

Early Voting begins on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Chautauqua County Fairgrounds in Dunkirk, Robert H Jackson Center in Jamestown, Celoron Community Center and Board of Elections, Mayville. All county poll sites will be available to cast ballots on Election Day.
