Water session to have station format

Fredonia’s July 9 water project information session will have a signboard station format. “Stations will be positioned around the venue with posterboards sharing information on various aspects of the project,” according to an informational flyer released early Monday by the village government. Fredonia is attempting to connect with the North County Water District, with eyes on decommissioning the village’s own treatment plant and reservoir. Legislature’s July meeting to be held at Jackson Center

The Chautauqua County Legislature will be going on a field trip of sorts. During the June meeting, lawmakers approved a resolution to move their next monthly meeting from Mayville to the Robert H. Jackson Center in Jamestown. County Legislature Chairman Pierre Chagnon, R-Ellery, said during a committee meeting that he received a letter from Kristan McMahon, the executive director of the Jackson Center.
