Vandals hit Fredonia Village Hall, Russell Joy Park

Fredonia Village Hall and other areas were defaced by vandalism overnight from Wednesday night to this morning. Mayor Athanasia Landis posted on Facebook a photo of Russell R. Joy Park sign that was marked with NWO in green spray paint.

Village Police told the OBSERVER that the American Legion, Masonic Temple, stop signs and street signs were marked.

If you know anything about the crime, call Fredonia Village Police at 679-1531.

Unfortunately the Village Hall and some other spots were hit as well. A DPW crew is canvassing the Village removing what they can. Thank you Perry Mitchell and everyone at the DPW.
