SILVER CREEK — A vehicle impacted a house, causing damage to the front entrance on Saturday.

Around 4:30 p.m., there was a call of a vehicle striking a house at 322 Central Ave. in the village. The house is at the top of the hill and the car was apparently driving towards Irving. There was discussion between firefighters, a county sheriff’s deputy and those on the scene that the driver may have been adjusting the air conditioning.

The Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputy stated that there will be a media report coming later Saturday and he could not comment at the time as it’s a pending matter.
