Hundreds of area residents were part of a holiday tradition in Dunkirk-Fredonia: Empty Bowls. The annual fund-raiser has normally receives $30,000 in donations from patrons’ purchases of ceramic bowls. This year’s event took place in Wheelock school and included the regular fare.
After a bowl was purchased, patrons were treated to soup made by Board of Educational Cooperative Services culinary students at the LoGuidice Center.
