With the voting completed, when will everyone find out if Fredonia was the No. 1 community?

At 8 p.m. Tuesday, there will be a Small Business Revolution Competition Live Stream Event at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House and Performing Arts Center. Doors will open at 7 p.m. The community is encouraged to arrive early as seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and there will be additional capacity and viewing in front of the Opera House.

Fredonia, which was announced as a Top 10 community in the contest in November, was named at top five finalist on Jan. 14. Voting ended at 11 Tuesday night for the remaining five communities that also included: Benicia, Calif.; Livingston, Mont.; Spearfish, S.D., and The Dalles, Ore.

On Monday, the final update on voting, Small Business Revolution noted Fredonia was in first place followed closely by The Dalles and Spearfish.

The screening of the movie Dark Waters scheduled at the Opera House for that Tuesday evening is this Saturday to accommodate the Small Business Revolution Competition Live Stream Event.
