Lights. Camera. Action! Fredonia get ready for the spotlight.
Crews from the “Small Business Revolution” came to town on Monday to begin working with the seven shops that will be featured in Season Five of the series. On the first day, show co-host Amanda Brinkman met with “The Hair Bar” and “Om Nohm Gluten Free.” Tuesday, she made a stop at Lena’s Pizza and Sub Shop.
Brinkman posted the visits through her Facebook feed. Other businesses that will be featured include Fresh & Fancy Flowers & Gifts, Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County, Nyce and Clean Premium Detailing and The Vineyards Gold Course.
On Friday, a community celebration is being planned to welcome the show. Brinkman and Ty Pennington will be at the happening, which is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Kickoff Celebration includes a street party featuring music by Frank Beach and the Rising. There will be food vendors and surprise guests and performances throughout the celebration.
On Jan. 28, the Fredonia community learned it had won the competition to be featured in the series during an event at the Opera House. Deluxe is infusing $500,000 worth of marketing and renovations to revitalize the town and seven small businesses.
