Another positive coronavirus case was confirmed on Sunday by the Cattaraugus County Health Department. The reporting laboratory was Wadsworth Laboratory in Albany.

A female resident who lives in the southeastern part of the county with no significant travel history was tested for COVID-19 on Friday after being in close contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She was asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches). On Saturday, her test indicated that she was positive for COVID-19.

The patient is resting at home, and now under quarantine with her family. She will be assessed for any medical support that we can provide and we will monitor her symptoms closely.
