Inner Lakes announces scholarship winners
The Inner Lakes Federal Credit Union has recently announced their scholarship winners for the 2019-2020 school year. They are:
¯ First – Alec Schrader (Fredonia), $1,500
¯ Second – Dylan Scriven (Westfield), $1,500
¯ Third – Kaitlyn Dahl (Cassadaga Valley), $1,000
¯ Third – Ella Gould (Fredonia), $1,000
¯ Fifth – Anthony Gullo (Fredonia), $750
¯ Fifth – Laura Johnston (Brocton), $750
¯ Seventh – Hailey Dahl (Cassadaga Valley), $500
¯ Eighth – Max Caccamise (Forestville), $500
Additionally, Alec Schrader won a $1,750 state-wide credit union scholarship, as well as a $500 award from the Jamestown Chapter of Credit Unions.
Each year Inner Lakes awards these scholarships to area seniors who are headed to college. The applicants are judged from an essay, grades and test scores, as well as extracurricular activities and community involvement.
“As we all know, this year was especially difficult for High School seniors. We are happy to play a small part in the lives of these outstanding young men and women. We are proud to have them as a part of Inner Lakes, and wish them success on their next step in life. Congratulations to them all,” said Travis Heiser, Inner Lakes CEO.
