BROCTON — A portion of a large tree that split apart fell at about 1 p.m. Wednesday at 33 Fay St. in the village of Brocton. The tree fell onto the roof of a residence, knocking down the chimney, and then rolled on top of a car. The car was heavily damaged from the tree.
