POWER of the flowers

Gary Miller has been gardening for years, but this is the first time he’s grown hybrid sunflowers. Reaching heights at a monstrous 10 feet tall, the sunflowers are just about to bloom. The bloomed sunflowers can grow to be the size of a human head. Miller stands proudly with his sunflower patch. “Anybody can have a green thumb, you just have to try,” Miller said. Honeybees flock the sunflowers, gathering pollen to spread to other plants in the garden, which include squash, radishes, zucchini, peas and many other vegetables.
