Silver Creek library plans book give-away

Books are already wrapped as gifts for the holiday season from the Anderson-Lee Library in Silver Creek.

Anderson-Lee Library, located at 43 Main Street in Silver Creek, has a wide variety of new books to give away to local children this holiday season.

The books are suitable for ages birth to 20, are pre-wrapped, and have a removable note indicating the subject of the book. Anyone who would like to give the gift of reading to a child or young adult in their life is welcome to stop by the library during open hours and pick something out. There are lots of board books, picture books, early reader chapter books, as well as full length chapter books.

The library is open Monday and Tuesday noon to 8 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
