The Westfield-Barcelona Chamber of Commerce holds a Christmas window decorating contest each year and 2020 was no exception.

As is custom, the merchants brought out their creative displays of Christmas cheer for all to enjoy. There were snowmen, Santas, Antiques, elaborate Christmas trees and painted windows with beautiful lights that made our village shine. In the year that coronavirus took much from us it was much appreciated to see these displays.

Each year a special committee of chamber board members meets to decide on the season’s best. Every year, it is a tough choice.

That said we announce with pleasure the first-place winner of a $50 Shoptauqua gift card goes to Custom Cuts owner Shannon Ryan. Second place of $30 Shoptauqua card went to Lake Shore Savings. T.W. Biggins with their beautiful purple tree took third and a $20 Shoptauqua gift card.

The Peoples Choice Awards, voted on by Facebook users were: first place Calarco’s Italian Restaurant; second place Blue June Blooms and third place Lake Shore Savings.
