Partners in Kind is teaming up with families and organizations throughout the area to host an Earth Day cleanup on Saturday in Fredonia.

“We’re going to meet at Barker Common around 10 a.m. and I’m going to deploy people to streets and areas that were either picked or they want to go to,” said Larry Fiorella, a member of Partners in Kind. “We’ll give out bags and gloves and have people pick up garbage.”

The cleanup is open to any organization or person who wants to be a part of it.

Partners in Kind an organization based out of Fredonia decided to do another cleanup this year after a successful one in 2018; it will center around the downtown area.

Also, the organization thanked the Cassadaga Job Corps for their charitable giving event. Partners in Kind, is a non-for-profit organization that gives so much back to the community and because of that Cassadaga Job Corps chose to support the organization and their efforts to help benefit those in need in our area. Cassadaga Job Corps employees rallied to raise $1,108.00 and Career Systems Development matched that amount. A check was given to PIK for $2,216.

Partners in Kind is an organization that assists people with various needs in Chautauqua County. They encourage people to do good and be kind.
