Give 716 donors benefit Westfield Memorial Hospital

WMH Foundation Executive Director Patricia DiPalma (seen in photo with Inner Lakes Credit Union CEO Travis Heiser) remains grateful to all the foundation’s valued donors. DiPalma noted eleven ardent fans donated close to $3,000 to the hospital foundation during the epic day of on-line giving.

WESTFIELD — The inaugural fundraising ‘GIVE 716’ event was held recently, generating more than $1.3 million for 460 not-for-profit organizations in the Western New York community.

Uniting Buffalo Bills and Sabres fans from the Western New York community proved beneficial for AHN-Westfield Memorial Hospital. One benevolent fan was Inner Lakes Credit Union, whose CEO Travis Heiser made a donation to Patricia DiPalma, Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation executive direector, on behalf of the hospital foundation for $1,000.

“The Inner Lakes Federal Credit Union is proud to give to the Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation – the fundraising arm of the hospital,” Heiser said. “These funds were provided through the generosity of our members, as well as the sale of masks during the height of the pandemic. Support for local healthcare is important all the time, and the pandemic made that even clearer. We are happy to support the WMH Foundation’s mission in working with the hospital to provide financial support for the delivery of high quality healthcare in our region.”

DiPalma said 11 ardent fans donated close to $3,000 to the hospital foundation during the day of online giving.
