TAKING THE OATH: East Dunkirk Fire names officers

The Ladies Auxiliary Officers that were installed included: President, Julie Sek; Vice President, Bonnie Purol; Secretary, Janice Ganey; Treasurer, Brenda Martin; and trustees Debbie Piglowski, Kristina Damon, and Shelly Williamson.
The Fire Department officers installed are as follows: President, Pagan; Vice President, Scott Pagano; Treasurer, Jim Ganey; Financial Secretary, Richard Purol; Recording Secretary, Greg Berg; Directors Jordan Cooper and Austin Ganey; Fire Chief, Kyle Damon; first assistant chief, Austin Ganey; second assistant chief, Brian Purol; third assistant chief, Jim Ganey; foremen, Terry Grissanti and Dan Berg; and Hall Rental Director and Janitor, Jim Ganey.

The East Dunkirk Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary held a ceremony to install its 2022 officers on Jan. 30. The ceremony, organized by Juan Pagan, president, included brief remarks that were made by members of the fire department and ladies auxiliary and concluded with the Oaths of Office conducted with the Honorable Town of Dunkirk Justice, Robert Hubbard presiding. Fire police also took oaths of office. The department would like to congratulate all officers and wish them well in their commitment to serving their community.
