The Inner Lakes Federal Credit Union has recently announced their scholarship winners for the 2021-2022 school year. They are: Erin Schrantz, $1,500, Fredonia High School; Lauren Bills, $1,250, Westfield Academy and Central School and Kinnan Finnegan, $1,250, Fredonia High School; EvaRose Wienke, $1,000, Fredonia High School; Darien Swanson, $750, Westfield Academy and Central School; Devin Putney, $750, Chautauqua Lake Central School; Gabriel Schrader, $500, Fredonia High School; Roman Durant, $500, Piedmont High School

Each year Inner Lakes awards these scholarships to area seniors who are headed to college. The applicants are judged from an essay, grades and test scores, as well as extracurricular activities and community involvement. “Despite have a couple of their senior high years being disrupted by COVID-related concerns and protocals, these kids continued to excel. We are happy to play a small part in the lives of these outstanding young men and women. We are proud to have them as a part of Inner Lakes, and wish them success on their next step in life.
