Administrative service awards presented at SUNY Fredonia

The 2022 Outstanding Administrative Service Awards have been presented to five SUNY Fredonia employees, whose collective service spans more than 40 years and all major departments within the Division of Finance and Administration.

The awards highlight exemplary service that employees give to the campus.

Vice President for Finance and Administration Michael Metzger told the recipients, “The award recognizes the good work that you do every day. Each year I have the privilege of recognizing the very best.”

Criteria for the award, now in its 20th year includes: outstanding Fredonia service attitude; creativity and resourcefulness in improving services; demonstrated team effort in everyday actions and positive attitude in dealing with students, faculty and staff.

Award recipients include:

¯ Robert Graham of the Faculty Student Association (FSA) Operational Services, is currently a Lead Service Worker. He began his career at FSA in January 2002 as an Associate Service Worker in Erie Dining Hall. Graham is a resident of Fredonia.

¯ Alicia Klepfer from Secretarial/Clerical, is an Office Assistant 3 in the Purchasing Department. She began her career at Fredonia in June 2017 as an Office Assistant 1 in the Accounting/Accounts Payable Department. Klepfer is a resident of Cassadaga.

¯ Erin Ransom from Custodial Services and a Cleaner in Dods Hall, who began her career at Fredonia in November 2019. Ms. Ransom is a resident of Brocton.

¯ Charles Holder, a member of the professional staff and Emergency Planning Coordinator, has been employed at Fredonia since July 2018. Holder is a resident of Bemus Point.

¯ Gary Hardy from the Professional Trades as the Plant Utilities Engineer 2, who began his career at Fredonia in February 2013. Hardy is a resident of South Dayton.
