JAMESTOWN — A search warrant executed by police Thursday turned up cocaine, cash and a canister of “noxious material.”
Members of the Jamestown Police Department and State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team executed the warrant at 5:45 a.m. at 248 Buffalo St., Apt. 1. The apartment had been identified as a nuisance in the neighborhood, Jamestown police said.
Found in the apartment was 42-year-old Brandy K. McBride, as well as two other adult females and five young kids, ranging in age from 1 month to 10 years old.
During the search, police discovered 3 1/2 grams of powder cocaine, 6 1/2 grams of marijuana and 5 1/2 ounces of cocaine.
Police also allegedly discovered drug paraphernalia, cash and a canister that contained “CS gas,” also known as tear gas, which is reportedly illegal to possess.
Police learned McBride allegedly rented the apartment and was in charge of the activity occurring within the residence.
McBride was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of noxious material and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Police urged the public to report any suspicious activity.
