A motorist who lost control of their vehicle on Ellicott Road has died.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Fredonia Fire Department responded to the report around 10:20 p.m. Thursday. Through an investigation it was determined that the operator of the vehicle had lost control and traveled down a ravine.
The operator of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries caused by the accident. The investigation into this incident is on going and further details will be released at a later time.
