“By and large, we tailor ourselves for “open air” festivals, concerts, seasonal events, holidays, and private parties,” James Steffan, band leader said. “Our visual look with matching Hawaiians and light Khakis is intended to be reflective of our sound and overall affect. Folks have kiddingly called the band the ‘Festive lookin’ feel good soundin’ band.”

In previous years the Kokomo Time Band has had the honor of performing events like car shows , Niagara Falls Memorial Day and Independence Day Fests , Orchard Park Carribean Nights (10 years), city of Dunkirk Heritage Fest and the Buffalo Italian Fest.

Highlights of this early 2021 schedule so far , include a July Fourth afternoon appearance at Manning’s at Demetri’s on the Lake, two Sunday afternoon appearances at the Casino in Bemus Point, a July 16 city of Warren Concert by the River and some pivate parties and concert events. Because of COVID-19, scheduling is happening a little later than usual this year .

“We have nice versatility,” Steffan said. “With the versatility of our members , we are capable of doing a six-piece band, five, four or even a trio for smaller venues. ”
