Katherine Szewczuk is the new executive director for the Dunkirk Historical Museum.

The Dunkirk Historical Museum is pleased to announce the arrival of its new executive director, Katherine Szewczuk.

With 12 years of experience in the field, Szewczuk is excited to help the museum continue to grow and modernize providing excellent service to the city of Dunkirk and its tourism industry.

At the top of her list to help reinvigorate the Dunkirk Historical Museum is to increase collaboration with community partners, as well as work to build stronger relationships with the citizens of Dunkirk. In the coming months, the Dunkirk Historical Museum will be expanding its hours, and is currently actively recruiting volunteers for a variety of roles, including docents, exhibit design, research, archival work, event planning and more.
