Police identify woman killed in weekend crash

State Police

The New York State Police has identified a South Dayton woman as the person killed in a crash late Saturday in the town of Arkwright.

Police say Linda A. Kraemer, 71, was a passenger in a 2018 Ford F-150 that was struck at about 10:30 p.m. by a 2020 Chevrolet Trail Blazer at Route 83 and Center Road. The Ford was traveling west on Route 83 while the Blazer was south on Center Road.

According to the State Police, the Blazer — being operated by 59-year-old Randall J. Rolison of Jamestown — failed to stop at the stop sign before it hit the Ford.

Rolison and both passengers in his vehicle were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The operator of the Ford, identified as Gary A. Kraemer of South Dayton, was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Linda A. Kraemer was pronounced dead at the scene by a county coroner.

An investigation remains ongoing.
