JAMESTOWN — A Jamestown man has been remanded to Chautauqua County Jail and bail was set for two others charged in a violent home invasion that occurred earlier this week.
During arraignment proceedings Thursday morning in Jamestown City Court, William R. Buckley was jailed without bail while bail was set at $500,000 cash, $1 million property bond each for Joneece M. Talley of Dunkirk and Joshua A. Ryan of Jamestown.
All three were taken into custody Tuesday on a host of charges following a home invasion Monday that injured a 73-year-old woman.
Buckley, 47, and Talley, 29, are accused of forcing their way into the woman’s home, tying her up to a chair and holding her at gunpoint before stealing property.
Ryan, 34, was noted as being the “getaway driver” afterward.
Buckley, Talley and Ryan are all facing charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal use of a firearm, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree conspiracy, second-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing.
Due to a prior felony conviction, Buckley was remanded to jail without bail.
