Readers to the rescue: Rosebud ‘is full of love’

Rosebud

Last year my family had a really difficult year. We lost my grandfather and then had to put down our senior dog. We did inherit my grandfather’s dog, but he was closer to my mother. So I wanted a dog for myself. Well I went to all of our local rescues, met with a couple dogs but nothing clicked and no one got along with my current dog.

I watched all the shelters for someone to catch my eye and then the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue got a litter of puppies. One certain one caught my eye because of her name, so I switched my application to the puppies. Sadly, the one I wanted was already applied for but this little girl was left with all her brothers. So I bought her home, she was something that my family didn’t know that we needed but got anyway.

She is full of love, which I wanted. She loves to cuddle and gets along with our old man we inherited. I did change her name to Rosebud, after my grandparents, it is a combo, kind of both names. Now she has a brother to play with and a bed to sleep in and two people very lovingly, giving her all the attention she deserves.

Starting at $3.50/week.
