Town of Hanover website updated
HANOVER — The Town of Hanover has addressed issues with its official website to provide more transparency with the public.
After receiving a failing grade in a study by an open government advocacy organization, The New York Coalition For Open Government, Hanover put the time in to make the necessary improvements.
“That is going to be my number one project for this year, updating that website and making it much more user friendly with a lot more information on it,” Hanover Town Clerk Tim Crino told the OBSERVER at a recent Town Council meeting.
As of Thursday morning, the website, www.hanoverny.com, has the official meeting minutes posted from every meeting of the Town Council in 2022. The documents are easily accessible from the main page of the website. Meeting minutes from 2021 and other documents and forms are available through different tabs on the website.
The next meeting of the Hanover Town Council is on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
