The Dunkirk Fire Department apparently made quick work of a pickup truck fire reported around 12:28 p.m. Monday in front of 513 Columbus Ave. There were no apparent injuries but the vehicle was heavily damaged. The Dunkirk Police Department was also on the scene, briefly closing Fifth Street near its intersection with Columbus Avenue.
