STRONG THREAD: Knitting group gives back

The Thursday Knitting Group that meets at St. Josephs R.C. Church in Fredonia sends out a big thank you to all the people who have donated yarn to us. In 2022, we crocheted and knitted 812 items that were given to various organizations. These items included hats, scarves, mittens, baby items, lap robes, and afghans. The items were distributed to the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center, UPMC of Jamestown, V.A. Clinic, St. Giana Pregnancy Outreach Center, The Salvation Army, Dunkirk Free Library, Darwin Barker Library, U.S. Navy, Fredonia Child Development, and Partners in Kind. If you have yarn to donate or wish to join our group, please call 716-785-6039 for more information. Thank you to all our yarn donors and volunteers.
