CELEBRATING SERVICE: Masons honor pair

The District Deputy Grand Master for the Chautauqua District, F.&A.M., Richard Newton, center, and Brothers from Forest Lodge 166 in Fredonia, and Silver Lodge 757 in Silver Creek, presented aprons, pins and certificates to a couple of very special members. Donald “Duke” Ellington, at left, from Forest Lodge was congratulated on 60 years of service. Marvin Smith, a Past Master of Silver Lodge, was recognized for 75 years of dedication to the craft. Both of these Brothers are not only appreciated for their longevity but for their tremendous contributions to Masonry and community. Holding the certificates are the Masters of the respective Lodges, David Ludemann of Forest, and John Bailey of Silver.
