Dunkirk High School Class of ‘23 events set
Dunkirk High School seniors will have a full June, culminating with commencement.
Their last day of classes is Friday with a field day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prom follows the next day from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Williams Center in Fredonia.
Senior Scholarship Night is Wednesday, June 14, at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. A parade with elementary students is Thursday, June 15, starting about 9 a.m.
Senior Sweep, where the Class of 2023 will be picking up trash across the city, is Tuesday, June 20. Participants will meet 8 a.m. at City Hall.
A free senior dinner for students only is also planned that Tuesday, for 4:30 p.m. in the Clarion Hotel. Senior Class Night will follow at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
Commencement rehearsal is Friday, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Participants will meet in the auditorium.
The big day — graduation — is set for Saturday, June 24 at Karl Hoeppner Field. Students will line up at the adjacent high school about 6 p.m. and the commencement ceremony will start at 7 p.m. The rain date will be Monday, June 26.
