STEPPING UP: Dunkirk business gives to Cope 19 Foundation

ECR International of Dunkirk is a large sponsor of Cope Foundation 19. Cope 19 is a children’s non-profit organization that helps children who are affected by an opioid abusive parent or guardian. Bill Matteson is the executive director. William Matteson is a Motivational Speaker, Counselor of grief and loss, Martial Arts Master, Poet and Author, “My son died Jan. 5, 2019, from opioid abuse leaving three beautiful children behind,” Matteson said. “I have been clean from heroin since 1981. I love life and cherish every day. I absolutely adore my children and grandchildren. It is by God’s will that I am who I am today. At ECR International and Granby Industries, its partnership has made the company the leading North American manufacturer of residential and light commercial heating, cooling, storage equipment, and propane vessel fabrication and transport trucks. These boots will be distributed to individuals who struggle to have proper footwear throughout the community which we live in.
